More often than we’d like to admit, it’s actually a disguise for avoidance. A way to sidestep the uncomfortable but necessary work of taking ownership of our lives.
- “I’m this way because of what they did.”
- “I can’t change because of my job, my family, my lack of support…”
- “I would go for it… but someone else already did it better.”

And may I just start off by saying those feelings are so valid.
The things you've experienced in your life, especially your childhood circumstances all contribute to the person you have become today...
But that doesn't mean that has to be your truth forever.
When you consistently choose the path of least resistance, you hand over your power. Consciously and unconsciously subjecting yourself to a cycle of blaming, deflecting, and shrinking that makes transformation feel impossible.
True transformation doesn’t come from blaming others or bypassing your own role in your story. It comes from radical self-honesty, grounded action, and learning how to hold both your pain and your power in the same breath.
It’s saying: “Even if it’s hard, I choose to meet myself here.”
It’s deciding: “I am responsible for how I show up now, no matter what shaped me then.”
You don’t need to fight your way forward — but you do need to claim it.
It is up to you to declare that you are worthy of living a life that not only creates sustainable happiness but is ultimately fulfilling in all areas.Â

Despite being a guide, intuitive energy healer, and intentional space holder, I am — like many of you — a recovering perfectionist.
